Facial fat transfer is an excellent way to rejuvenate the aging face in a natural fashion. Fat transfer procedure
The procedure is performed on an outpatient bases in our office under mild sedation. It is done by removing fat from one area of the body, known as the donor sight, and injecting it into another for volume restoration and tissue imperfections. Gentle liposuction is performed in the donor sight, such as the abdomen, inner thighs or love handles. The fat is then prepared and re-injected in areas that need filling/volume restoration. The procedure itself usually only requires one hour. Patients can expect bruising and swelling during the first week or two.
Results
Results from a fat transfer procedure are permanent and reveal a more youthful and refreshed look. Fat transfer procedures can be combined with other procedures including Botox cosmetic, facial fillers, and even face lift surgery.
